About Us
In April 2022, Seraphine Buchmann took over the tennis school/tennis academy at TC Waidberg. Until then, the coach had most recently served as the head coach at TC Zumikon, instructing junior and adult training sessions.
Our Philosophy
I hope to give my students a great attitude toward tennis—learning from failures and turning them into successes. This mindset will eventually carry over into life, because tennis, like life, is a journey where we have both good and bad days. If I succeed in that, I have successfully fulfilled my role as a coach. I hope to give my students a great attitude toward tennis.
We believe that fun on the court promotes flow and long-term improvement.
We place great importance on clean technique in every training session.
We provide individual guidance, promote fair play and a strong work ethic, and empower players and people for the long term.
Our Mission
My training is more than just tennis. It combines technique, tactics, and mindset, serving as a school for life. Fun and joy always come first.
We work 80% on your strengths and 20% on your weaknesses, because strengths are what move you forward. Everyone learns differently and has different goals, so I adapt the training individually. I want you to think in a solution-oriented way and find paths you can call upon, both on the court and in everyday life. No matter your level, you should take something away every time and leave the court with a good feeling.
We promote technique, mental strength, and the joy of tennis for the long term.
We support players holistically, strengthening character, discipline, and team spirit for the long term.
Our Vision
Our tennis school aims to develop players of all ages into confident, fair, and happy tennis players who combine technique, passion, and team spirit while growing long-term.
We support every player personally, improving technique, fitness, and mental strength for the long term, with joy in the game.
Fairness, respect, and team spirit define our school, helping players mature both as athletes and as people.
Our Team
Dedicated coaches, personal support, experience, passion, and individual development for everyone

Coach
A Zurich native and aspiring lawyer, he has played tennis since early childhood. He has been supporting our team since 2023 and is valued by clients of all ages and skill levels for his varied lessons. He knows how to cater individually to each student.
He is an active tournament and Interclub player himself, which also benefits him as a coach, as he can incorporate personal experience into his teaching. His favorite shot is the one-handed backhand, which he executes with elegance, reminiscent of his childhood idol R. Federer.
There is always room for a relaxed slice, though; spontaneity and passion on the court are never compromised.
His favorite motto, “never quit doing what you love doing most,” is also evident on the court: “talk with your racket and play with your heart.”
